Day 1 – Travel Day

Well, a bit late, but better late than never, right?  The blog lives.  Need to get caught up.  So far very little time to get on the computer.

Anyhow, the trip across the pond started out spectacularly.  Traffic to Pearson was great and we got there in record time considering it was rush hour.  Check in was a breeze and security not too bad.  Then there was the lounge.  Everyone should get access to the Maple Leaf Lounge.  Then we wouldn’t hate Air Canada so much.  I mean, why not start every flight with an open bar and lots of nibbles in comfortable seats?  The world would be a much a happier place.  Because once they cram you into those seats, you forget very quickly that they’re pretending to help you.  The flight overall was fine, took off on time, landed on time.  Really long wait to get through British Customs, but at least we didn’t have to wait for our bags and our driver was waiting for us….but wait a second, that’s information for Day 2.
