One Response to “Saskatoon Day 11 – Medal Day – Tuesday Jan 5, 2010”
Well, we won a silver – and certainly take our hats off to the USA and their strategy. By picking super fast skaters, teaching them how to flop in front of our shooters and changing their goalie half way through the game – I hate to admit it – but they deserved to win. (Mother DOES NOT AGREE!). This takes nothing away from our guys who played their hearts out – came back from a two goal deficit and battled both the Americans and the referees (who certainly gave the other guys a big break). Wonderful hockey – both teams put on a fantastic show.
